Fears such as these can be reduced to the point where you no longer freak out at the sight or the experience. For example, if you absolutely freak out when you see a snake, this fear can be reduced to the point where you can look at and even touch a snake. You can still have respect for them and keep your distance. And don’t worry that you might want to chase them down just to hold and hug them. This probably will not happen. You can keep your distance and observe them and maybe even enjoy looking at them without announcing to your family or the public that you are in a panic situation.
Many people learned to fear such things from their parents, friends or relatives. If you were around someone who exhibited such a fear response, especially if you were very young, then more than likely you will have developed the same fear. This obviously is a very high stress situation. You can learn to reduce and control stresses such as these. You don’t have to come face to face with the creature to over come your fear of it. Instead, you can use the services of the Hypnosis Success Center to quickly and easily help you reduce or eliminate your fear. In many cases just one session can reduce or eliminate the fear.
